Things are not really going great guns for this dimpled beauty. In fact, Preity Zinta has been going through the roughest patch for almost three months now. Her team, Kings XI Punjab lost the IPL cup and also her five-year-old relationship with business scion Ness Wadia, which has been having its ups and downs for a while, is finally over.
While the ever-optimistic Preity sounded her cheerful self, ask her about her team's defeat and her voice goes a decibel lower. She says, "Of course I am not the happiest person right now. This time, a lot of things went against us. The rains and then five of our players were missing from action. All injured. We could have made it to the semis but because of the rains, we lost out on the run rate and Deccan Chargers went through. We played well, but luck was not with us," she says.

Preity Zinta and Sauve Ness

The lively Preity Zinta and the sauve Ness Wadia are no longer together. During the last season of T20 also, everything wasn’t well between the two as cameras covering the matches of their team King’s XI in SA, always caught the two sitting separately in the stands. They were not even seen together in the momets of victory.
“I’m not dating anyone right now. If I did, I wouldn’t hide it. But whatever the status of my heart, I’m certainly not the kind of person who would send out emails to people about my love life”, says the vivacious actress who hasn’t yet openly admitted that her relationship with Ness is over.
She apparently made this statement in reference to reports at the start of the IPL that she had sent emails to her team informing the players that while Ness and she were not personally together, they remained committed professionally to the King’s XI.
“Why would I do something so stupid,” she asked. “Do I owe my team members an explanation on my love life? I don’t even know their email addresses. For me, the line between my personal life and my work place is very sharply divided.”
The actress now seems to be single and happy.

Preity Zinta'a new film

The last time that actress Preity Zinta and director Samir Karnik came together was for HEROES, where Preity essayed the role of a brave young Punjabi army widow. What followed was an all round critical acclaim, as well as an average box-office success. And it seems that the young director has found appreciation for his work as Preity has once again hired his services (no, do not jump the gun, she is not venturing into film production!), to bring out a 24-episodic film on her team, Kings XI Punjab.
